Ouch..Leg Cramps!
Leg cramps are an involuntary reaction of a muscle or group of muscles in the leg. They are usually painful and extremely uncomfortable. Leg cramps usually occur in older patients although there is no criterion as it is also seen in young people. Leg cramps usually occur in the calf and quadriceps tendon. The length of tendon varies from less than a minute to several minutes at times.
Symptoms of leg cramps
Leg cramps are characterized by the following symptoms:
~Severe pain in leg
~Muscle tension
~Inability to move the leg during the cramp
